ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി: സാധാരണക്കാരുടെയും ന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങളുടെയും പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍ രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ശ്രദ്ധയില്‍പ്പെടുത്താന്‍ ഏറ്റവും അനുയോജ്യമായ സ്ഥലം പാര്‍ലമെന്റാണെങ്കിലും ലോക്‌സഭയിലെ 30ഓളം മുസ്‌ലിം എം.പിമാരില്‍ ഭൂരിപക്ഷവും അക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ പരാജയമാണെന്ന് രേഖകള്‍ തെളിയിക്കുന്നു. ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ ജൂലൈ-ആഗസ്ത് മാസങ്ങളിലായി നടന്ന ലോക്‌സഭാ സമ്മേളനത്തില്‍ ഭൂരിഭാഗം മുസ്‌ലിം എം.പിമാരും ഒറ്റച്ചോദ്യം പോലും ചോദിക്കുകയോ ചര്‍ച്ചകളില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. ദുബ്രി എം.പിയും അസം യുനൈറ്റഡ് ഡമോക്രാറ്റിക് ഫ്രണ്ടിന്റെ അധ്യക്ഷനുമായ ബദ്‌റുദ്ദീന്‍ അജ്മല്‍ ഒഴികെ തുടക്കക്കാരില്‍ ബഹുഭൂരിഭാഗവും സഭയില്‍ നിശ്ശബ്ദരായിരുന്നു. ബദ്‌റുദ്ദീന്‍ അജ്മല്‍ ആറു ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ ചോദിക്കുകയും ചര്‍ച്ചകളില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.അബ്ദുല്‍ മന്നാന്‍ ഹുസയ്ന്‍ (കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-മുര്‍ശിദാബാദ്), അബ്ദുര്‍റഹ്മാന്‍ (ഡി.എം.കെ വെല്ലൂര്‍), ബീഗം തബസ്സും ഹസന്‍ (ബി.എസ്.പി-ഖൈറാന), ഡോ. മുനസില്‍ ഹസന്‍ (ജെ.ഡി.യു-ബെഗുസറായ്), ഡോ. ഫാറൂഖ് അബ്ദുല്ല (എന്‍.സി-ശ്രീനഗര്‍), ഹസന്‍ ഖാന്‍ (സ്വതന്ത്രന്‍-ലഡാക്ക്), ഇസ്മാഈല്‍ ഹുസയ്ന്‍ (കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-ബാര്‍പേട്ട), കൈസര്‍ ജാന്‍ (ബി.എസ്.പി-സിതാപൂര്‍), കബീര്‍ സുമന്‍ (തൃണമൂല്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-ജാദവ്പൂര്‍), ഖാദിര്‍ റാണ (ബി.എസ്.പി-മുസഫര്‍ നഗര്‍), മൗസം നൂര്‍ (കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-മല്‍ദഹ), മുഹമ്മദ് അസ്ഹറുദ്ദീന്‍ (കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-മുറാദാബാദ്), എം ഐ ഷാനവാസ് (കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-വയനാട്), മുഹമ്മദ് അസ്‌റാറുല്‍ ഹഖ് (കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-കിഷന്‍ഗഞ്ച്), മുഹമ്മദ് ഹംദുല്ലാ സഈദ് (കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-ലക്ഷദ്വീപ്), സുല്‍ത്താന്‍ അഹ്മദ് (തൃണമൂല്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-ഉല്‍ബെരിയ), ശെയ്ഖ് നൂറുല്‍ ഇസ്‌ലാം (തൃണമൂല്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-ബസീര്‍ഹട്ട്), സയ്യിദ് ഷാനവാസ് ഹുസയ്ന്‍ (ബി.ജെ.പി-ഭാഗല്‍പ്പൂര്‍), സഫര്‍ അലി നഖ്‌വി (കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്-ഖേരി) തുടങ്ങിവരാണ് പാര്‍ലമെന്റില്‍ മൗനം കൊണ്ട് ശ്രദ്ധയാകര്‍ഷിച്ച മുസ്‌ലിം എം.പിമാര്‍. ഇവരാരും ഒറ്റച്ചോദ്യം പോലും ചോദിക്കുകയോ ഒരു ചര്‍ച്ചയില്‍ പോലും ഇടപെടുകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. 47 ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ ചോദിച്ച ഓള്‍ ഇന്ത്യാ മജ്‌ലിസെ ഇത്തിഹാദുല്‍ മുസ്‌ലിമീന്‍ എം.പി അസദുദ്ദീന്‍ ഉവൈസിയാണ് മുസ്‌ലിം എം.പിമാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ കഴിവ് തെളിയിച്ചത്. നഗരത്തിലെ ചേരിനിവാസികളുടെ ആരോഗ്യപ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍, ചെറുകിട നിക്ഷേപകരുടെ സംരക്ഷണം, മുംബൈ ഭീകരാക്രമണത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള തെളിവ് കൈമാറല്‍, തെരുവുകച്ചവടക്കാരെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ബില്ല്, ഗ്രാമപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ ശുദ്ധജല ലഭ്യതയും ശുചിത്വവും തുടങ്ങി ദരിദ്രരെയും പിന്നാക്ക-ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വിഭാഗങ്ങളെയും ബാധിക്കുന്ന നിരവധി പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം സഭയുടെ ശ്രദ്ധയില്‍ക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. കേരളത്തില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള മുസ്‌ലിം എം.പിമാരില്‍ ഇ ടി മുഹമ്മദ് ബഷീറാണ് കുറച്ചെങ്കിലും ഭേദപ്പെട്ട പ്രകടനം കാഴ്ചവച്ചത്. തൊഴില്‍നിയമ ഭേദഗതി, തെങ്ങുകൃഷിക്കാരുടെ സംരക്ഷണം, പുതിയ സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ സ്ഥാപിക്കല്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ വിഷയങ്ങള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം സഭയില്‍ ഉന്നയിച്ചു. 16 ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ ഉന്നയിച്ച പശ്ചിമബംഗാളിലെ സി.പി.എം എം.പി സെയ്ദുല്‍ ഹഖും ഏഴ് ചോദ്യങ്ങളുന്നയിച്ച യു.പിയിലെ ബി.എസ്.പി എം.പി ശഫീഖുര്‍റഹ്മാന്‍ ബര്‍ഖും ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ പ്രകടനം കാഴ്ചവച്ചവരില്‍പ്പെട്ടവരാണ്. ഭാഷാപ്രശ്‌നവും വിഷയങ്ങളിലുള്ള അവഗാഹമില്ലായ്മയും പരിചയക്കുറവും പല മുസ്‌ലിം എം.പിമാര്‍ക്കും തടസ്സമാവുന്നുണ്ട്.

I was shocked to see the report ,and so I took pains to verify the facts. It is contrary to fact at least in respect of Mr M.I.Shanavas MP, Wayanadu, Kerala. It can be seen that the performance of Mr M.I.Shanavas, in the Parliament happened to be above average. His first speech in connection with Budget discussion speaks by itself, and he raised to the level of an MP with long tenure in Parliament. His participation during the debate relating to Right to Education is worth noting.
Till now Mr shanavas has asked 34 questions and has also raised questions in the zero hour.The text of his speech available in the Loksabha site has been sent to TwoCircles separately for ready reference and cross verification. I hope you would issue an erratum and publish in the earliest issue of TwoCircles so as to ensure the credibility of TwoCircles.
