മിശ്ര കമ്മീഷന്‍: ദലിത്-ന്യൂനപക്ഷ-പിന്നാക്ക കൂട്ടായ്മ നിലവില്‍വന്നു

കൊച്ചി: സാമൂഹികനീതിക്കായുള്ള ഭരണഘടനാനുസൃത സംവരണം അട്ടിമറിക്കാനുള്ള ആസൂത്രിതനീക്കം ഐക്യത്തോടെ ചെറുക്കണമെന്നു സോഷ്യല്‍ ഡമോക്രാറ്റിക് പാര്‍ട്ടി ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ (എസ്.ഡി.പി. ഐ) കൊച്ചിയില്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ദലിത്, പിന്നാക്ക, ന്യൂനപക്ഷ നേതൃയോഗം ഐകകണ്‌ഠ്യേന തീരുമാനിച്ചു. ജസ്റ്റിസ് രംഗനാഥ മിശ്ര കമ്മീഷന്‍ റിപോര്‍ട്ടിന്റെ മറപിടിച്ചു പിന്നാക്ക വിഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ മേല്‍ത്തട്ട് അടിച്ചേല്‍പ്പിക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമങ്ങളെ ഒന്നിച്ചെതിര്‍ക്കാനും സംയുക്ത യോഗത്തില്‍ ധാരണയായി. ന്യൂനപക്ഷ ജനവിഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മിശ്ര കമ്മീഷന്‍ നിര്‍ദേശിക്കുന്ന സംവരണാനുകൂല്യം നടപ്പാക്കുമ്പോള്‍ യാതൊരുതരത്തിലും പട്ടികജാതി, പട്ടികവര്‍ഗ, ഗോത്രവര്‍ഗങ്ങള്‍ അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങളെ ദോഷകരമായി ബാധിക്കരുത്. പട്ടികജാതിക്കാര്‍ക്കോ വര്‍ഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കോ നിലവിലുള്ള സംവരണം മറ്റാര്‍ക്കും പങ്കുവയ്ക്കാന്‍ പാടില്ല. മിശ്ര കമ്മീഷന്‍ റിപോര്‍ട്ടിലെ നിര്‍ദേശങ്ങളെ മുന്‍നിര്‍ത്തി ദലിത്, പിന്നാക്ക, ന്യൂനപക്ഷ വിഭാഗങ്ങളെ തമ്മിലടിപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള സവര്‍ണ-തല്‍പ്പര കക്ഷികളുടെ ഗൂഢശ്രമങ്ങള്‍ തിരിച്ചറിയാനും തിരിച്ചടിക്കാനും സമ്മേളനം അഭ്യര്‍ഥിച്ചു. നിസ്സാരമായ അഭിപ്രായവ്യത്യാസങ്ങള്‍ ഉയര്‍ത്തി ജാതിവികാരമിളക്കി കേരളത്തെ കലാപഭൂമിയാക്കാനും പീഡിത ജനതയെ തമ്മിലടിപ്പിക്കാനുമുള്ള നീക്കങ്ങളെ ചെറുത്ത് ഐക്യത്തിനായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കാനും യോഗം തീരുമാനിച്ചു. മതന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കു സംവരണം വേണമെന്ന നിര്‍ദേശം യോഗം സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്തു. ഇതിന്റെ ആദ്യപടിയായി 27 ശതമാനം ഒ.ബി.സി സംവരണത്തില്‍ 8.6 ശതമാനം മതന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കും അതില്‍ത്തന്നെ ആറുശതമാനം മുസ്്‌ലിംകള്‍ക്കും ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തണമെന്ന നിര്‍ദേശം കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഒരു എക്‌സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് ഓര്‍ഡറിലൂടെ നടപ്പാക്കണം. നിലവിലുള്ള പട്ടികജാതി സംവരണം നിലനിര്‍ത്തിക്കൊണ്ടുതന്നെ പരിവര്‍ത്തിത ദലിതര്‍ക്കും പട്ടികജാതി പദവി അംഗീകരിച്ച് പ്രത്യേക സംവരണക്വാട്ട അനുവദിക്കണമെന്നും യോഗം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. എസ്.ഡി.പി.ഐ സംസ്ഥാന പ്രസിഡന്റ് അഡ്വ. കെ പി മുഹമ്മദ് ശരീഫ് ചര്‍ച്ച നിയന്ത്രിച്ചു. അഡ്വ. കെ എ ഹസന്‍ (കേരള മുസ്‌ലിം ജമാഅത്ത് കൗണ്‍സില്‍), കെ എം സലിം കുമാര്‍ (കേരള ദലിത് മഹാസഭ), ഇ എം അബ്ദുര്‍റഹ്മാന്‍ (പോപുലര്‍ ഫ്രണ്ട് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ), എന്‍ കെ അലി (മെക്ക), അഡ്വ. മുണ്ടൂര്‍ കൃഷ്ണന്‍ (അംബേദ്കര്‍ ധര്‍മ പ്രബോധന സംഘം), പി ടി വാസു (കെ.പി.എം.എസ്), പി പി സന്തോഷ് (ദലിത് സര്‍വീസ് സൊസൈറ്റി), വി എസ് രാധാകൃഷ്ണന്‍ (എസ്.സി-എസ്.ടി സംരക്ഷണ മുന്നണി), കെ എം നാസര്‍, മാവുടി മുഹമ്മദ് ഹാജി (കെ.എം.വൈ.എഫ്), ഫ്രാന്‍സിസ് പെരുമന (ലത്തീന്‍ കത്തോലിക്കാ ഐക്യവേദി), സാംകുട്ടി ജേക്കബ് (ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ദലിത് ഫെഡറേഷന്‍), പള്ളിപ്രം പ്രഭാകരന്‍ (കേരള പട്ടികജാതി-പട്ടികവര്‍ഗ ഐക്യവേദി), പി കെ ശശി (വേട്ടുവ മഹാസഭ) എസ്.ഡി.പി.ഐ സംസ്ഥാന ഭാരവാഹികളായ കെ എം മനോജ്കുമാര്‍, പി അബ്ദുല്‍ മജീദ് ഫൈസി, തുളസീധരന്‍ പള്ളിക്കല്‍, പി കെ രാധ, അഡ്വ. വി എസ് സലീം യോഗത്തില്‍ സംബന്ധിച്ചു.ഭാവിപരിപാടികള്‍ ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്യാന്‍ വിവിധ സംഘടനാ പ്രതിനിധികളടങ്ങിയ സമിതിയെയും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു.

സംവരണം തട്ടിയെടുക്കാന്‍ ആരെയുംഅനുവദിക്കില്ല: എസ്.ഡി.പി.ഐ

 

കോഴിക്കോട്: പിന്നാക്ക-ദലിത് വിഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അനുവദിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ള സംവരണം തട്ടിയെടുക്കാന്‍ ആരെയും അനുവദിക്കില്ലെന്ന് എസ്.ഡി.പി.ഐ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഭരണഘടന രാജ്യത്തെ ദലിത്-പിന്നാക്കവിഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അനുവദിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ മേഖലയിലെ സംവരണം സംബന്ധിച്ച കാര്യങ്ങളില്‍ ഇടതു-വലതുപാര്‍ട്ടികള്‍ സവര്‍ണപക്ഷത്തിന് അനുകൂലമായ നിലപാടുകളാണ് കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നതെന്ന് എസ്.ഡി.പി.ഐ സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രേട്ടറിയറ്റ് ആരോപിച്ചു. സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യാനന്തര ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ കാലം ഭരിച്ച മതേതരപ്പാര്‍ട്ടി എന്നവകാശപ്പെടുന്ന കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്സും സവര്‍ണ ഹിന്ദുത്വ അജണ്ടകളുടെ വക്താക്കളായാണ് നിലകൊണ്ടതെന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നതാണ് സച്ചാര്‍ കമ്മിറ്റി റിപോര്‍ട്ടിലെ പരാമര്‍ശങ്ങള്‍. സംവരണത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനം ജാതിയാണ്. ജാതിവിവേചനം മൂലം സാമൂഹികനീതിയും അവസരസമത്വവും നിഷേധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ക്ക് സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ മുഖ്യധാരയിലേക്കു കടന്നുകയറാനുള്ള മാര്‍ഗമെന്ന നിലയില്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഭരണഘടന വിഭാവനം ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള രക്ഷാമാര്‍ഗമാണ് സംവരണം. അതിന് വ്യക്തമായ മാര്‍ഗനിര്‍ദേശങ്ങളുമുണ്ട്. ഈ നിര്‍ദേശങ്ങളെ അട്ടിമറിക്കാനുള്ള ഗൂഢതന്ത്രങ്ങളാണ് ചില സംഘടനകള്‍ ഏറ്റെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. സംവരണം അനര്‍ഹരായവര്‍ക്ക് ലഭ്യമാക്കരുതെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ട് ഇന്നു സംസ്ഥാനത്തൊട്ടാകെ പഞ്ചായത്തുതലങ്ങളില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധപ്രകടനം നടത്തും. പ്രസിഡന്റ് അഡ്വ. കെ പി മുഹമ്മദ് ശരീഫ് അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. അബ്ദുല്‍ മജീദ് ഫൈസി, എം കെ മനോജ് കുമാര്‍, ഇക്‌റാമുല്‍ ഹഖ് പങ്കെടുത്തു. 

Letter by Popular Front Chairman- Muslim Reservation

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Dear Sir,

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmathullah

            I hope and pray that this letter will find you in good health and spirits. 

           

This is to bring your kind notice that Popular Front of India has decided to launch a two months long National Campaign for Muslim Reservation during February and March 2010.  The nation-wide campaign will start with a Grand Public Meeting at Pune in Maharashtra on 31 January. A Parliament March will be held at New Delhi on a convenient date in the month of March as part of the campaign.  It planned to have a  series of public awareness programmes such as  pamphlets, posters, exhibitions, street meetings, vehicle caravans, rallies, seminars and cultural shows in various states during  the campaign period. 

The decision to campaign the demand for Muslim Reservation is taken in the context of the Justice Ranganath Misra Commission Report.  As you know the Report was tabled in the parliament without the accompanying action taken statement.  Nor the Central Government has so far made any commitment regarding the implementation of recommendations contained in the report.  Moreover our Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh told to the group of Muslim MPs, who met him with a demand for reservation for the community, that a broad national consensus was needed for a decision on the issue. While the government has taken many decisions with far reaching consequences on national as well as international issues even without a prior discussion in  the parliament, the pre-requisite of 'a broad national consensus'  for implementing Muslim Reservation can  only be viewed as an  attempt to distance the solution.  

The Mishra Commission has earmaked 15% of government jobs and seats in educational institutions for minorities, out of which 10% exclusively for the Muslim Community.  Alternatively, it has earmaked 8.4% out of existing OBC quota of 27% for minorities, of which 6% exclusively for Muslim OBCs.  Also it has extended benefit of reservation to Dalit converts to Christianity and Islam and suggested to repeal the clause relating to religious Qualification in the Constitution (SC) Order,1950. 

The Misra Commission report is a landmark and can be a breakthrough in addressing the long pending and just demand for reservation to all Muslims all over India. While the Justice Sachar Committee has earlier diagnosed that  Muslim Community as a single entity is  more backward than any other socio-religious communities including Hindu OBCs who now  enjoy reservation, the present report has prescribed the real remedy, that is reservation to all Muslims.  Also the report addresses the concerns of the more backwards among the Muslims. In this context, it is hoped that the National Campaign of Popular Front will further strengthen the ongoing efforts in different parts of the country by various organizations including the campaign initiated by Joint Committee of Muslims |Organisations for Muslim Empowerment (JCMOE).

We feel that various sections within the community must be aware of the attempts by communal, upper caste and vested interest outfits to divide Muslims on the issue.   And also there are attempts by them to turn other deprived sections against the demand for Muslim reservation. Hence we have to make it clear that reservation to minorities has to be provided without effecting existing reservation quotas enjoyed by tribals, dalits and other backward communities.

എല്‍.കെ.അദ്വാനിയുടെ ദുഃഖം: ഒരു ദൃക്‌സാക്ഷി വിവരണം

(Raina's Ghalib, 1984). ഒരു നേരം പോക്കിന് എന്നെ കൊല്ലിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ പിന്നവളെന്നെ കളിയാക്കുകില്ലെന്ന് നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരുന്നു ; ആ ചെയ്തിക്ക് ശേഷമുള്ള പശ്ചാത്താപം അത്ര കടുത്തതായ് അവളെ ചൂഴ്ന്നിരുന്നിരിക്കണം. ബാബറി മസ്‌ജിദ് ഒരു കൂന മണ്ണും പൊടിയുമായി മാറിയ 1992 ഡിസംബര്‍ ആറാം തീയതി, രുചിര ഗുപ്ത ബിസിനസ്സ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ലേഖികയായി ജോലി ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു. അന്നേ ദിവസം ദുരന്തഭൂമിയില്‍ രുചിര ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. "ആവേശത്തിന്റെ ഉച്ചസ്ഥായില്‍ ആഘോഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കായി കാതോർത്ത് " നിന്നിരുന്ന എല്‍‍.കെ.അദ്വാനിയെയും ലിബര്‍ഹാന്‍ കമ്മീഷന്‍ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തിയ മറ്റു സംഘപരിവാര്‍ നേതാക്കളെയും അവര്‍ അവിടെ വച്ച് കണ്ടു. 2009 ഡിസംബര്‍ 6ന് സഹ്‌മത് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച അനുസ്‌മരണ യോഗത്തില്‍ രുചിര 1992 ലെ ആ അഭിശപ്ത ദിനത്തില്‍ താന്‍ കണ്ടതും കേട്ടതുമായ കാര്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് - ഐക്യരാഷ്‌ട്ര ഏജന്‍സിയിലെ ജോലിക്കിടെ ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്കില്‍ നിന്ന് ഇതിനായി മാത്രം വന്ന് ലിബര്‍ഹാൻ കമ്മീഷന് തെളിവ് നല്‍കിയതിനെക്കുറിച്ച്- ഒക്കെ നേരിട്ട് വിവരിച്ചു. അവര്‍ നല്‍കിയ തെളിവുകളിലെ കൃത്യമായ വിവരങ്ങൾ‍, എന്തായാലും, ലിബര്‍ഹാന്‍ കമ്മീഷന്റെ ഭീമന്‍ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ ഇടം പിടിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ബാബരി തകര്‍ത്തതില്‍ അദ്വാനിക്ക് പില്‍ക്കാലത്തുണ്ടായി എന്ന് അവകാശപ്പെടുകയും പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പശ്ചാത്താപത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ചാണെങ്കില്‍, ആ ദിവസം അഡ്വാനിയുമായി രുചിര നടത്തിയ സംഭാഷണശകലങ്ങള്‍ സത്യമെന്തെന്ന് വെളിവാക്കുന്നുണ്ട് ; ആ അവകാശവാദത്തിന് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ജനതയുടെ മഹാഭൂരിപക്ഷത്തിനിടയില്‍ വിശ്വാസ്യത ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ല എന്നിരിക്കിലും.. 2009 ഡിസംബര്‍ 6 നു രുചിര പറഞ്ഞതിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ചില കുറിപ്പുകൾ ഇതാ : "രാമന്റെ നാമത്തില്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ പ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്യുന്നു, ക്ഷേത്രം ഞങ്ങള്‍ അതേ സ്ഥലത്ത് നിര്‍മ്മിക്കും " ("kasam Ram ki khatein hein/ mandir wahein banayeinge") എന്ന മുദ്രാവാക്യം കേട്ടപ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ അദ്വാനിയോട് ചോദിച്ചു എന്താണതിന്റെ അര്‍ഥമെന്ന്. അദ്ദേഹം എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞു "നീയവിടെ എത്തുമ്പോള്‍ നിനക്ക് മനസ്സിലാകും എന്താണതിന്റെ അര്‍ത്ഥമെന്ന്." (ഈ അഭിമുഖം നടക്കുന്നത് കുപ്രസിദ്ധമായ രഥയാത്രക്കിടയിലായിരുന്നു‍) (ബാബറി മസ്‌ജിദ്) തകര്‍ക്കപ്പെട്ടതിന്റെ അന്ന് അദ്വാനി ഉമാഭാരതിയോട് "കുട്ടികളോട് താഴികക്കുടങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് താഴെക്കിറങ്ങാന്‍ പറയൂ, അതെന്തായാലും തകര്‍ന്നു വീഴും" എന്ന് ഉപദേശിക്കാന്‍ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശം നല്‍കുന്നത് ഞാൻ കേള്‍ക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. വളരെയധികം കൊട്ടിഘോഷിക്കപ്പെട്ട അദ്വാനിയുടെ ദു:ഖത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് തികച്ചും വ്യത്യസ്തമായ ചിത്രം തന്നെയാണ് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞതിലെ രണ്ടാം ഭാഗം നല്‍കുന്നത് എന്ന് പ്രത്യേകം പറയേണ്ടതില്ലല്ലോ? ഉമാഭാരതിയാകട്ടെ "മുസ്ലീങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് രണ്ട് സ്ഥലമേയുള്ളൂ, ഒന്നുകില്‍ പാക്കിസ്ഥാന്‍ അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ശ്‌മശാനം" ("Mussalmanoun ke dou hee sthan/ Pakistan ya Qabristan") എന്ന് അലറി വിളിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ തിരക്കിലായിരുന്നു. മുരളി മനോഹര്‍ ജോഷി മസ്‌ജിദ് തകര്‍ക്കപ്പെട്ടതിനുശേഷം സ്ഥാപിക്കാനുള്ളവ എന്ന് തീർത്തും ഉറപ്പിക്കാവുന്ന പ്രതിമകളും കയ്യിലേന്തിനിൽക്കുകയായിരുന്നു "എന്റെ കണ്ണുകള്‍ക്കിനി ശാന്തി ലഭിക്കും" ("ab meri aankhoun ko shanti milegie") എന്ന് വിജയരാജേ സിന്ധ്യേ പറയുന്നതും ഞാന്‍ കേട്ടു. കിട്ടുന്നതെന്തും കൊള്ളയടിക്കുന്ന കര്‍സേവകരാല്‍ നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്ന പള്ളിക്കകത്തേക്ക് ഞാന്‍ ചെന്നു. ആരോ അലറി.."മുസ്ലീം"...ചിലര്‍ കഴുത്ത് ഞെരിക്കുവാനും അപമാനിക്കുവാനും തുടങ്ങി. "കൊല്ലവളെ" എന്നും "ഇവിടെ വെച്ച് വേണ്ട, ഇത് ഗര്‍ഭഗൃഹമാണ്" എന്നുമുള്ള അലര്‍ച്ചകളും കേട്ടു. ചിലര്‍ എന്നെ പുറത്തുള്ള ട്രെഞ്ചിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടു പോയി. ഏതോ കര്‍സേവകന്‍ എന്നെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു. "ഇത് പത്രക്കാരിയാണ്, ഹിന്ദുവാണ് " എന്ന് ഉറക്കെപ്പറഞ്ഞു. മോചിതയായപ്പോൾ ഞാന്‍ ടെറസിലേക്ക് ചെന്നു. അവിടെ ചന്ദന്‍ മിത്ര, സ്വപന്‍ ദാസ്‌ഗുപ്ത തുടങ്ങിയ രണ്ട് മുതിര്‍ന്ന പത്രപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരും ഇരിക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കുറച്ചകലെ അഗ്നിക്കിരയായിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന വീടുകളിലേക്ക് ഞാന്‍ അദ്വാനിയുടെ ശ്രദ്ധക്ഷണിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു " ഈ മുസ്ലീങ്ങള്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ തന്നെ വീടുകള്‍ കത്തിക്കുകയാണ് , നഷ്ടപരിഹാരത്തിനായി." ("yeh Mussalmaan ghar jala rahei hein muavzzei ke liye") പിന്നെപ്പറഞ്ഞു "ഇത് മഹത്തായ ഒരു ദിനമല്ലേ, അല്പം മധുരം കഴിക്കൂ." ("Itna badda dinn hea, cheeni khaaw") മാര്‍ക്ക് ടുളിയും, എസ്.പി.ജെയിനും മറ്റു ചില പത്രപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരും ആക്രമിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത് ഞാന്‍ കണ്ടു. ഞാനേതോ ടി.വി. ലേഖകനോട് പറഞ്ഞു "ചിത്തരോഗികള്‍" (Psychopaths) അതായിരുന്നു ഞാന്‍ വേട്ടയാടപ്പെട്ടതിന്റെയും, സ്വഭാഹത്യക്കു വിധേയയായതിന്റെയും, വിദ്വേഷമെയിലുകള്‍ക്കിരയായതിന്റെയും, എനിക്കെതിരായപരദൂഷണപ്രചരണത്തിന്റെയും ഒക്കെ തുടക്കം. പിന്നീട് ലിബര്‍ഹാന്‍ സിറ്റിംഗിനിടെ ഡിഫന്‍സ് വക്കീല്‍ എന്നോട് ചോദിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി "നീ പുകവലിക്കുമോ? റ്റി.വി സീരിയലുകളില്‍ അഭിനയിക്കുമോ? ഏത് ദൈവത്തിലാണ് നീ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നത്? നിന്നെ അപമാനിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ നീ ഓടി രക്ഷപ്പെടാതിരുന്നത് എന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് ?" എന്നൊക്കെ. സംഘപരിവാര്‍ പക്ഷക്കാരായ മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകർ തൊട്ടടുത്ത ദിവസം മുതല്‍ അദ്വാനിയുടെ "ദുഃഖ"ത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഐതിഹ്യങ്ങള്‍ പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന കാമ്പയിനുകളാല്‍ പത്രത്താളുകൾ നിറയ്ക്കാന്‍ തുടങ്ങി. രുചിര മറ്റൊന്ന് കൂടി പറയുകയുണ്ടായി. Joint rally in Bangalore demands implementation of Liberhan Report

New Delhi: The Karnataka unit of Popular Front of India along with other organizations held a protest rally in Bangalore today demanding implementation of Librahan Commission Report which has indicted Sangh Parivar leaders for the demolition of Babri Masjid.

The rally began at 4 o'clock from Court College field and marched toward Town Hall passing through K.R. Circle, Nrupatunga Road, Corporation Junction. The rally ended in an assembly at Town Hall.

Other organizations attending the rally included Karnataka Komu Souharda Vedike, All India Imams Council, Dalit Sangharsh Samithi, Samata Sainik Dal, Tippu United Front, Social Democratic Party of India, PUCL, SICHREM (Christian Organisation) and NCHRO.

Dr. Mehboob Awad Sheriff from Member of PFI National Council and Usman Baig from Imam Council of India addressed the people.

Mangalore, Dec 4: "Taking action against the guilty noted in the report of Justice M S Liberhan is very important to save the democracy of India. There is need for cancellation of  recognition of the  Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the Babri Masjid demolition and related undemocratic incidents in the name of God and religion provoked by it", said G Rajashekar, human rights activist and columnist, on Friday December 4.

Speaking at the protest organized by the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) in front of the office of the deputy commissioner (DC) to demand legal action against the culprits noted in the Justice M S Liberhan report on Ayodhya incident, he said, "The issue of Babri Masjid was not just the demolition of a religious place but it was the reason for the death of hundreds of innocents. So, this is a protest on humanitarian grounds".

"There is no need to build a Ram Mandir at Ayodhya after killing humans in the name of religion and God", he said adding they can use stones or golden bricks to build a temple, but there is no use.

"The action against culprits should be taken with immediate effect based on the report of Justice M S Liberhan as a tribute to the innocents who lost their lives due to the Karsevaks of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (RSS)", he said mentioning the reports that said Muslim people were attacked and their houses, shops, were burnt in various parts of Uttar Pradesh in the aftermath of the incident.

Usman Beig Rashadi, president, All India Imam's Council, said, "The demolition was pre-planned as per the discriminating ideology of RSS to keep the Muslim community distant from constitutional rights. So, all the discriminated classes including Muslim, Dalit, and poor communities, should fight for justice".

Abdul Hameed, president, SDPI Kasargod unit, said that fascist powers have tortured the Muslim community in the name of cow slaughter, terrorism, 'love jihad' and many more, and demanded that the Babri Masjid be reconstructed at the same place and nowhere else.

Abdul Majeed, state president, SDPI presided over the function. Human rights activist Pattabhirama Somayaji, and Rafuyuddin Kudroli were also present.
